Hi Friends! Wondering about options for gluten-free restaurants in Park City, Utah? I got you covered in my Gluten-Free Guide to Park City!

If you ski, snowboard, or love to hike and be outside Park City is one of the best places to be.

My husband and I love to snowboard and we wanted our first time snowboarding out west to be at Park City.

Park City is known for its incredible mountains and it’s great food scene as well. Add in easy access from Salt Lake City Airport and you have one of the best winter vacation spots to be on the West Coast.

Don’t worry gluten-free foodies – the gluten-free food scene is incredible as well!

Let’s get into the guide!

Where to Stay:

Whenever I’m traveling for more than a day or two I always book a place with a full kitchen. When traveling with celiac disease it is always good to have a full kitchen as backup and to save money on a meal or two.

I explain more in the post “Can I Travel With Celiac Disease?” on my other blog, Gluten Free With ADHD.

When traveling to Park City you’ll especially want to book a place with a full kitchen and you’ll see why when we get down to “Luna’s Kitchen” under 100% Gluten-Free in Park City.

We LOVED our Airbnb. Unfortunately, our Airbnb is no longer listed, but it was located in the Snowcrest Condos.

This location was

  • 8-minute walk to Starbucks and Christy Sports (where we rented our snowboarding equipment)
  • 10-minute walk to Park City Mountain
  • 15-minute walk to my favorite dedicated gluten-free restaurant in Park City (Luna’s Kitchen)
  • 15-minute walk to a grocery store

You can search on Airbnb.com to find a location near there or on Booking.com to find a great place to stay!

One of the best parts about Park City is the bus system that goes throughout the city. This Airbnb worked perfectly because the bus stops to go in either direction were less than a 5-minute walk from our Airbnb.

The location of our Airbnb couldn’t be beat for a gluten-free traveler! I can’t recommend this location enough!

If you’re traveling with more than 2 people I recommend getting an Airbnb near the area.

Getting Around Park City

Park City has a FREE bus service that services the entire city.

You read that right – a free bus service! It took us directly from our Airbnb right up to Park City Mountain and later to downtown Park City every day.

We used the buses at least 2-6x per day. The buses made getting around Park City simple and efficient.

You can find out more about the free bus service by clicking here!

Airport Transportation

468*60

The nearest airport is Salt Lake City International Airport. The airport is roughly a 40-minute drive from Park City.

There are one or two buses that can take you from the airport to the city but the times were inconvenient for us so we booked a private car service.

We used Park City Direct and HIGHLY recommend them. I loved them because their rates are right on their website and we could book directly through the website. I didn’t have to pick up the phone.

Each way cost us $174 (with taxes and fees). It is a hefty fee but it costs roughly the same as an Uber or Taxi. However, the professionalism and punctuality of Park City Direct made the extra cost worth it!

Now that you know where to stay and how to get around Park City let’s get into the great food you can eat there!

Gluten-Free Restaurants in Park City, Utah

Dedicated Gluten-Free in Park City

Luna’s Kitchen – A 100% Dedicated Gluten-Free Facility

If you’re visiting Park City with celiac disease, Luna’s Kitchen is a great option. In fact, it’s one of my favorite gluten-free spots in town and the restaurant I recommend most to families. Since it’s a dedicated gluten-free facility, you can order anything on the menu without worrying about cross-contact. Plus, if you’re staying in an Airbnb or condo, it’s a fantastic way to save money on dining out while still enjoying delicious, celiac-safe meals.

Kitchen closes 30 minutes before the restaurant.

One thing to know before you go: the kitchen stops serving hot food 30 minutes before closing. I learned that the hard way! After a long day on the slopes, I showed up starving only to find the kitchen had already closed. Thankfully, they still had plenty of grab-and-go items available, so I didn’t leave empty-handed.

Luna’s Kitchen is located about a 15-minute drive from Park City Mountain and Historic Main Street, and it’s also accessible by bus. The closest stop is Fresh Market, with Hotel Park City, Homestead and Kearns, and Walgreens stops all within walking distance.

The restaurant describes itself as a “gluten-free kitchen & bakery with healthy-ish food for everybody,” and I think that’s the perfect description. The food is fresh, filling, and exactly what you want after spending the day skiing or hiking. Along with a full café, they also offer baked goods and refrigerated grab-and-go meals that you can heat up later.

I visited Luna’s Kitchen twice during my trip and also brought one of their prepared meals back to our Airbnb for dinner. Some of the menu items I tried included the Caprese Flatbread, House Salad, Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Caesar Wrap, and Red Velvet Cupcake. While the cupcake wasn’t my favorite, the Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Caesar Wrap were both excellent and are the two items I’d recommend ordering.

The real star, though, was the fresh lasagna. I picked up one of their uncooked family-style meals to bake back at our Airbnb, and it was honestly one of the best lasagnas I’ve ever had—gluten-free or not. It takes about 40 minutes to bake, but it was absolutely worth the wait and ended up being one of my favorite meals of the entire trip.

If you’re traveling with family, don’t overlook their family-size prepared meals. They’re perfect for those evenings when everyone is exhausted after a day on the mountain and the last thing you want to do is wait for a table at a restaurant. Just pop dinner in the oven, put on your pajamas, and relax.

Overall, Luna’s Kitchen is one of the best gluten-free restaurants in Park City. Between the delicious food, convenient prepared meals, and the peace of mind that comes with eating at a 100% dedicated gluten-free facility, it’s an easy recommendation. It’s my second favorite gluten-free restaurant in Park City, and I’d happily eat there again on my next visit.

I got the pre-packaged lasagna to cook in the Airbnb and it was INCREDIBLE.  It was one of the BEST lasagnas I’ve ever had – both with gluten and gluten-free.

Gluten-Free Friendly in Park City

Yuki Yama

Yuki Yama

Yuki Yama was my absolute favorite of all the Park City restaurants we visited. In fact, it’s easily one of my top 10 restaurants in the world! If you’re visiting Park City with celiac disease or other dietary restrictions, this is one reservation you won’t want to skip.

Located in the heart of Historic Main Street, Yuki Yama is just a short walk from the Old Town Transit Center, making it easy to reach whether you’re staying downtown or taking Park City’s free bus system.

Yuki Yama specializes in Japanese cuisine and sushi, and while it isn’t a dedicated gluten-free restaurant, I felt completely comfortable dining there. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about gluten-free dining and took my celiac disease seriously. Their excellent reputation on Find Me Gluten Free is well deserved, and after eating there twice during our five-day trip, I can confidently say it lived up to the hype.

One tip: make a reservation! Yuki Yama is one of the most popular restaurants in Park City and often books up a week or more in advance during ski season. Thankfully, reservations are easy to make on OpenTable.

I’ll admit it—I used to hate sushi. But Yuki Yama completely changed my mind. One of the biggest reasons was their dedicated fryer, which meant I could safely enjoy gluten-free shrimp tempura for the first time. That crispy shrimp was a game-changer and made me realize what I’d been missing all these years.

During our visits, we ordered the Wagyu Beef Tataki, House Salad, Lamb Lollipops, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and the 84060 Roll (without crab). Every dish was delicious, and I had no issues eating any of them. Both sushi rolls featured crispy fried shrimp, but my favorite was the 84060 Roll because it was wrapped in a gluten-free soy wrap instead of traditional seaweed.

Our sushi chef actually recommended the soy wrap after I admitted I wasn’t a fan of seaweed, and it was the perfect suggestion. If you’ve never been able to get into sushi, I highly recommend trying a soy wrap first. It’s much milder in flavor and made me an instant sushi fan.

Yuki Yama was so good that we intentionally booked two dinners there before we even arrived in Park City because of its outstanding Find Me Gluten Free reviews. After eating there, I can honestly say I’d do the exact same thing again. Between the incredible food, knowledgeable staff, accommodations for dietary restrictions, and the peace of mind that came from their careful gluten-free practices—including the dedicated fryer—it’s hands down my favorite restaurant in Park City.

Twisted Fern

One night I was desperate to find some gluten-free dessert and called a number of restaurants to try and find some. Fortunately, Twisted Fern had not only one gluten-free dessert but two!

Twisted Fern is located in the same plaza as Luna’s Kitchen which is about a mile from the downtown area.

We did not eat anything other than the two desserts we got so I can’t attest to how celiac-safe their actual food is, but the desserts were great!

We sat at the bar and the bartender seemed knowledgeable about having a “gluten allergy” and my food needing to be safe.

Park City Desserts

Park City Desserts

If you have a sweet tooth, Park City Desserts is a must-visit. This charming bakery is in downtown Park City and offers a welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for taking a break after exploring Main Street or hitting the slopes.

Best of all, its kitchen is 100% gluten-free, so you can enjoy dessert with complete peace of mind. However, do keep in mind that while their kitchen is dedicated gluten-free, they do sell gluten-containing items as well.

The bakery is just a short walk from the Old Town Transit Center, making it an easy stop whether you’re staying downtown or using Park City’s free bus system.

Park City Desserts features a rotating selection of fresh, homemade pastries and desserts along with a full espresso and coffee bar. While the display isn’t huge, everything is baked fresh in-house, and the menu changes regularly, giving you a reason to stop back more than once during your trip.

When we visited, we ordered a vanilla cupcake and the day’s special—a lemon tart. Both desserts tasted fresh and flavorful, and the vanilla cupcake was the clear winner. The cake was soft, and the frosting was absolutely delicious. The lemon tart had a bright citrus flavor, although it was a little crumbly, which isn’t unusual for gluten-free pastries.

Overall, Park City Desserts is a wonderful place to satisfy your sweet tooth. Between the delicious baked goods, fresh coffee, welcoming atmosphere, and the confidence that comes from eating at a dedicated gluten-free bakery, it’s an easy stop to recommend. If we’re back in Park City and craving dessert after a long day on the mountain, we’ll definitely be stopping in again.

For our next Park City Trip:

Those were all the restaurants I ate at, but if I was going back to Park City here’s where I would want to eat next time in addition to Luna’s Kitchen and Yuki Yama!

– Fletcher’s
