If you’ve ever spent time exploring the Catskills, you know it’s full of hidden gems — cozy bakeries, lively restaurants, and mountain-view cafés that make you feel right at home. For those of us eating gluten-free, finding safe, delicious options can be tricky, but don’t worry, I have you covered! Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or just passing through, here are a few of my absolute favorite gluten-free finds in the Catskills.
Meredith’s Bread – Home-Baked Goodness in Every Slice
Meredith’s Bread has earned a permanent spot in my gluten-free heart. They operate a completely separate gluten-free baking facility, which means you can indulge without worrying about cross-contamination. Their pies are, hands down, the best gluten-free pies I’ve ever had — flaky, flavorful, and everything a pie should be.
While they sell their pies alongside gluten pies, I do consider Meredith’s Bread to be celiac safe because of their separate, dedicated gluten-free baking facility.
Even better? Meredith’s Bread is one of the most affordable gluten-free bakeries I’ve found to date. Whether you pick up a classic apple pie or one of their seasonal specials, you’ll taste the care and quality in every bite.
My Favorites from Meredith’s Bread:
- Gluten-Free Apple Crumb
- Gluten-Free Strawberry Rhubarb Pie
- Apple Butter
- Gluten-Free Foccacia
- Gluten-Free Muffins

Print House Restaurant and Bar – A True Catskills Gem
Print House has one of the best vibes in all the Catskills — think warm lighting, lively energy, live music, and a menu that actually makes gluten-free dining easy. The owners are true pros, both with years in the NYC hospitality scene, and they take gluten-free safety seriously.
Their gluten-free wings are my personal favorite (perfectly crispy, with just the right amount of heat), but don’t skip their flatbread options, fresh salads, and the two gluten-free desserts that rotate with the seasons. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, eat well, and not have to ask a dozen follow-up questions about the fryer.
It’s impossible to get an Uber in this part of the Catskills. But fortunately for us we found my favorite Airbnb in the Catskills that’s only steps away from Print House.
My Favorites from Print House:
- Maple Bourbon Wings
- ANY Gluten Free Flatbread
- Warm Beet Salad
- The Gluten-Free Cookies for Dessert

We love staying with Brendan at Shadowcrest in Fleishmanns, NY. It’s a 10-minute drive to Belleayre Mountain and only steps away from Print House! We highly recommend staying with him. You’ll love his guest house! Click here to check out Shadowcrest.

Mornings Café – A Cozy Korean Spot for a Mountain Morning
Before a day on the slopes, there’s nothing better than a hearty breakfast that keeps you going. Mornings Café is a Korean-inspired café with limited gluten-free options, but the ones they have are worth a stop.
Their gluten-free egg rice bowl is a comforting, protein-packed start to your day, and their lunch bowls are the perfect refuel after a few runs. It’s a small, friendly spot where you can warm up, eat well, and feel ready for your next Catskills adventure.
My Favorites:
- Just the Egg Bowl (For Breakfast)
- K-BBQ Beef (For Lunch)

Gluten Free in the Catskills
From flaky gluten-free pies to wings and flatbreads done right, the Catskills is quietly becoming a fantastic spot for gluten-free food lovers. Whether you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, a casual lunch, or a relaxed dinner with friends, these three places prove that gluten-free dining can be safe, affordable, and absolutely delicious.
Cheers from Belleayre Mountain!

We love Meredith’s!!!
