If you’re searching for gluten-free restaurants near King of Prussia, you’re in luck! The King of Prussia Mall area has become one of my favorite places to find safe and delicious food while traveling with celiac disease. (I especially love the surrounding area outside the mall too – I list my favorite places below!).
As someone who has dealt with gluten sensitivity issues for a long time, I’m always looking for restaurants that understand cross-contamination, take food allergy protocols seriously, and offer a welcoming environment for people with specific dietary needs.
This guide covers my good experiences both inside the mall and within a few miles nearby. Whether you’re looking for great gluten-free dining,, a traveler, or a celiac partner, this visitor’s guide should help you find your next great spot.
Bartaco (My Absolute Favorite Restaurant)
If I had to pick my absolute favorite restaurant near King of Prussia, it would be Bartaco—and it’s not even close.
The pork belly tacos here are truly the best meal I’ve had in the area. They are honestly out of this world, and despite many attempts at trying and experimenting at home, I still haven’t come close to recreating them.
I’ve eaten here about half a dozen times, and it has consistently been a great experience for gluten-free diners.
During our most recent visit in March 2026, we had an incredible waiter named Lukas. The first thing he said when I made a note of my gluten allergy was that he understood celiac disease and would make sure the kitchen handled everything correctly. It’s always reassuring when a different person serving you actually understands the difference between a dietary preference and celiac disease or a serious food allergy!
Why Bartaco Is a Great Option for Gluten-Free Dining

- Plenty of gluten-free options
- Fresh ingredients and a huge selection of different GF items
All of the tacos are served on corn tortillas, making them naturally safe for gluten-free needs. I always confirm preparation and ask specific questions about shared fryer risks, but I’ve had nothing but good experiences here.
For me, this is the only thing I crave every time I’m visiting King of Prussia.

Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse
If you’re celebrating special occasions or just want an upscale italian restaurant, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse is a great place inside the King of Prussia Mall.
I haven’t dined here yet because we much prefer Bartaco, but based on their Find Me Gluten Free Reviews, they’re very familiar with dietary needs, and the kitchen is accommodating when you state you are sensitive to cross-contamination.
What to Expect
- Several gluten-free items – including gluten free bread!
- Knowledgeable staff who answer specific questions
- A menu that can be adjusted for celiac disease and gluten allergies
While not everything is safe due to non-GF items prepared in the same kitchen, many have found it to be a great gluten option for special occasions.
The Melting Pot
For a fun and unique gluten-free dining experience, The Melting Pot is a great spot.
Fondue can actually work well for people with celiac disease because you can control what goes into your pot. When you mention a food allergy, the staff can provide gluten-free selections like vegetables, fruits, and certain proteins.
Tips for Gluten-Free Diners
- Request items from a different station if possible
- Avoid dipping foods that come from areas with shared fryer risk
- Confirm which sauces contain non-GF items
This is a fun choice for a fun date night!
True Food Kitchen
If you’re looking for a health-focused restaurant with a lot of accommodations for dietary preference and free diet lifestyles, True Food Kitchen is another great option. This is not my favorite restaurant – in fact I was fairly disappointed when I tried True Food Kitchen. But it is incredibly safe and has a number of health-conscious food options!
They offer:
- Gluten-free menu items
- Vegetarian options
- Vegan options
- Pizza made with gluten-free crusts
The menu makes it easy to identify gluten-free items, and there are lots of options if you’re avoiding gluten.
Many people also appreciate that the restaurant focuses on high-quality ingredients and often avoids certain seed oils, which is a bonus for some diners.
Venchi Chocolate & Gelato
If you’re looking for a sweet treat, Venchi Chocolate & Gelato is a must-stop.
Many gelato flavors are naturally gluten-free, though cones are not gluten-free. So when you order be sure to specify that you have an allergy and are sensitive to cross contamination. They will go above and beyond to ensure that they take precautions to keep you safe!
It’s a great dessert stop after exploring the mall or finishing the best gluten-free meal nearby at Bartaco!
Gluten-Free Restaurants Near King of Prussia (Worth the Short Drive)
Burton’s Grill (2.9 Miles)
Burton’s Grill is widely known among gluten-free diners because they take food allergy safety extremely seriously. They have 82 5 star reviews on Find Me Gluten Free!
They offer:
- A dedicated gluten-free menu
- Staff trained in cross contamination
- Gluten-free foccacia and gluten-free bread
- Burgers on a tasty gluten free bun
- A dedicated gluten-free pasta pot
They’re known for their plenty of GF options and ability to handle gluten-free needs safely. Many dishes can be modified, and they’re excellent at taking a note of gluten allergies and celiac disease when ordering.
I seriously recommend going their for brunch to enjoy incredible dishes you probably haven’t had since going gluten-free, like their Gluten-Free French Toast in a skillet!
This is one of the best gluten-free restaurants near King of Prussia for dinner or a perfect pub night dinner.
Happy Mixer (1.9 Miles)
If you want 100% gluten-free baking, Happy Mixer is the perfect stop for anyone with celiac disease.
Because it’s a dedicated gluten-free bakery, you don’t have to worry about cross-contamination and can enjoy genuine gluten-free baking at its finest!
They offer:
- Cupcakes
- Cookies
- Cakes
- Other gluten-free items
It’s perfect for people who miss fun cakes or traditional baked goods but still need safe options.
Lovebird (5.7 Miles)
Lovebird is another great spot near King of Prussia, known for its fried chicken. I go here as often as I can when I’m in the area! Fortunately, Lovebird has 3 different locations near the NJ/PA border.
Everything in the store is gluten-free except for their buns! Their fried chicken? Gluten-free. Their mac and cheese? Gluten-free. Their fries? Gluten-free. There is such a small risk of cross-contamination because everything (but the buns) are gluten-free. But don’t worry! If you mention you have celiac disease they go above and beyond to ensure no cross-contamination happens.
They offer:
- ALL fried chicken is made gluten-free.
- Chicken sandwiches with a gluten-free bun
- Fries cooked in a dedicated gluten-free fryer
- Clearly marked gluten-free menu items
A dedicated fryer is a huge deal for anyone managing celiac disease, since many restaurants rely on a shared fryer.
For a casual night out, this is a great place for comfort food.
Final Thoughts: Best Gluten Free Dining in King of Prussia
Whether you’re visiting the King of Prussia Mall for the first time or you’re a long time gluten-free traveler, there are more safe restaurants here than many people expect.

For me, Bartaco remains the favorite place. After many visits and consistently safe meals, it’s still the restaurant I recommend first when someone asks where to eat gluten-free near King of Prussia.
